Daily Highlights (with Altitudes):
Day 1: Arrive on Tribhuvan International Airport and Taken to the Hotel. Explore Kathmandu, a vibrant capital city situated at an altitude of about 1,300 m.
Day 2: Explore the various ancient sites in and around Kathmandu and make final preparations for the trek.
Day 3: Drive to the trek starting point by private minibus: Khudi (800m).
Day 4: Commence the trek with a gradually rising path up the lower valleys, from Khudi (800m) to Sirung (2,200m).
Day 5: Trek on to Jagat (1,300m), a pretty village on the Marshyangdi River, through sub-tropical forests, further down the valley base.
Day 6: This day’s hike will take you through lush trails and traditional villages from Jagat (1,300m) to Dharapani (1,960m).
Day 7: Relish the picturesque landscapes and Buddhist culture on your trek from Dharapani (1,960m) to Chame (2,710m).
Day 8: Ascent to higher altitude with magnificent views of the mountains from Chame (2,710m) to Pisang (3,300m).
Acclimatization and High Points:
Day 9: Acclimatize in the beautiful village of Manang at 3,540 meters after reaching from Pisang (3,300m).
Day 10: Manang (3,540m) Acclimatization—exploration to the surroundings
Day 11: Important acclimatization day from Manang (3,540m) to Yak Kharka (4,110m)
Day 12: Trek from Yak Kharka (4,110m) to Thorung Phedi (4,600m), which serves as the base camp for crossing the challenging Thorung La Pass
Day 13: Thorung La Pass (5,416m) and the trek highlight. One could gaze upon breathtaking sceneries while descending towards Muktinath (3,800m).
Descent and Picturesque Villages:
In detail: From Muktinath, at an elevation of 3,800 meters, you make a scenic descent through the dramatic Kali Gandaki Gorge to Marpha, at 2,670 meters. In detail: From Marpha, at an elevation of 2,670 meters, you trek down to Kalopani and enjoy visiting villages noted for their apple orchards and Tibetan culture.
In detail: You reach Tatopani (1,200 meters) from Kalopani and take a relaxing soak in its natural.
Day 17: Hike through lush trails with picturesque mountain scenery from Tatopani (1,200m) to Ghorepani (2,850m).
Poon Hill and Return to Kathmandu:
Day 18: Observe a shot sunrise view of the Annapurna chain from the top of the Hill of Ghorepani (2,850m) to Poon Hill (3,200m), then drop down to Tadapani.
Day 19: Tadapani (2,700m) – Ghandruk trek through nice terrace farming countryside in the morning, later drive to Pokhara lakeside at 827 meters.
Day 20: Scenic drive from Pokhara at 827 meters back to Kathmandu at 1,300 meters.
Day 21: Finally departing from Nepal at Kathmandu at 1,300 meters, bidding adieu with a heart full of unforgettable memories and experiences.
